The Summit promises to be the housing event of the year for both private and public sector house builders. It will also be a must-attend gathering for the rest of the supply side, including builders’ merchants and manufacturers.
At the heart of the debate is what changes the industry needs to see to get more homes built.
Speakers will also address the big issues like finance, planning regulation and standards, as well as innovative housing solutions that hold out the promise of more sustainable homes.
Discussion will involve some of the work done by industry think tank, The Futures Group, which seeks to inform Government and stimulate informed debate about delivering better quality homes.
Key note speaker, Shadow Housing Minister Jack Dromey will set out the urgent need to build more homes and the benefits this will deliver in terms of jobs and growth.
Adrian Coles, CEO of the Building Societies Association will discuss the mortgage market.
The Summit will also look at the role that public rented homes might play in solving the housing crisis in the future.
Mike Leonard, CEO of the Modern Masonry Alliance, said: "We are delighted to stage the only Housing Conference which sets out to inform all tenures of the housing industry.
“Delegates will hear from key leaders in the sector about increasing the supply of high quality new homes which will create the jobs and growth we need for the future."
